i saw your comment on Mike's page about his Cb550. did you solve the RPM problem that you posted about on his blog? where's your pictures? :) take a look at his site again.
Right now it's a cosmetic mess, so no photos for the time being. Also my camera is sub-par, looking at getting a new one. I'm working on the paint job right now, cleaning the engine up and cleaning the pipes up (lots of elbow grease). They're full of holes and the baffles are shot, so I'll be cutting them out to run straight pipes or potentially go to a Mac exhaust (not preferred, but I'll do what I have to do). I'll post a picture of what it looked like when I got it home and maybe later tonight post its current state. My engine is in pieces.
The RPM problem was carb related, the PO had put the needles on the second clip rather than the third so I was running extremely lean (especially with pod filters). I put my needle on the fourth clip and upped my jet sizes so it revs up like nothing.
